Hello there :)

My name is Eva, I'm a writer from from Canada, and I'm interested in learning more about sustainability and gardening. Last spring I spent a month living in a tent and helping out in a garden on Manitoulin Island. It was incredible, and I would really like to gain more experience with this kind of work. I think being outside and doing physically demanding tasks is a really good pairing with my creative work. I'm looking for workaways where I can learn new skills, have a routine, and also have some quiet time for creative reflection. I love talking about art and literature, and I would love to learn about your own creative practices, if you have them!

I was a camp counsellor for 6 summers in Ontario, where I taught sailing and arts and crafts. I love being outside and being part of a positive, collaborative community. I know from my time there that it's possible to make any task or situation fun. Being at camp also gave me some experience with living off-grid (composting toilets, no electricity), and I would like to become even more proficient in living sustainably.

Another big goal of mine is to improve my French!
