My next destination:
Taipei, Taiwan - from May 2025 until Jun 2025 View allDescription
I've spent a lot of time in academia these past few years, and would love the chance to help with any hands-on work, whether building furniture, gardening, or learning new fiber crafts! There's something so rewarding about enjoying or using items that I or a friend has made for myself.
Even having encountered a diverse array of people in college, I still itch for more. There is so much to learn from everyone I meet, and I hope to create a robust exchange of skills and experiences.Interests

More details about your skills
As a hobby, I sew and crochet and am quite handy at mending small items! I haven't yet had much experience repairing or upcycling furniture but have previously done simple fixes with sanding, clamping, and glueing. I love to paint and draw as well, so can offer any aid in home renovation and other art projects.

What else ...
As a current urban studies and architecture student, I love learning about new cities and their most intimate neighborhoods! I could listen for hours to people talk about their beloved neighborhood dives, little stores, and banquet halls. I also have a "small" obsession with cooking and learning new food techniques from a variety of cuisines and cultures! I just recently learned how to steam the perfect Laotian sticky rice in a bamboo basket.
