Description
Hi! My name is Emma, I'm 22 years old and currently studying psychomotricity in Paris. I'm originally from a small town in the south of France.
I love taking care of others and I’m absolutely passionate about animals! I did horse riding for 8 years and I can’t live without my cat.
I really enjoy hiking and sleeping under the stars, bivouacking is one of my favorite things!
I’m super excited about the idea of going on a Workaway adventure, meeting new people, and sharing unforgettable moments!
Hi there! I’m the second Workawayer, my name is Manon and I’m 20 years old. I’m in my final year of psychomotricity studies, and next year I’d love to go traveling with Emma through Workaway.
I’m passionate about football and cooking, and I’ve been a scout since I was 8 years old. I’m now a leader for younger scouts (louveteaux/jeannettes).
Last summer, I went on a solidarity project in Peru with five scout friends. I love nature, adventure, and evenings around the campfire. I’m really looking forward to discovering new ways of life and helping out wherever I can!

More details about your skills
Emma:
I’ve had a few jobs alongside my studies:
– Temporary worker in the public sector
– All-round team member at McDonald’s
– Waitress at a local artisan coffee roaster
Manon:
Scouting has taught me a lot: I’m resourceful, curious, enthusiastic, sociable, and altruistic. I learned how to build wooden structures (cabins, elevated tents, tables, chairs…), sleep under the stars, grow a vegetable garden, and live with just the essentials.
I’ve also worked as a hostess in restaurants and as an all-round employee in cafés.
My studies in psychomotricity have allowed me to complete many internships with diverse populations (people with multiple disabilities, neurological disorders, school difficulties, elderly care, adult psychiatry…), which confirmed my desire to pursue this human-centered profession.

What else ...
Emma:
I love board games and spending quality time with friends and family. I'm always up for discovering new things! I adore sunsets and will never say no to a trip to the beach or a local visit!
Manon:
For me, woofing means connecting with new cultures, new people and with yourself! I’m really, really excited to experience this adventure alongside Emma!
