Kia ora! My name is Ella and I am a bright and bubbly photographer & writer, originally from New Zealand. I am currently based in Glasgow where I live with my partner and wee dog.

My Mother is Kiwi and my Father is Austrian - they met hitchhiking so you could say travelling is in my blood. I am a free spirit with a passion for adventure. I love to experience different cultures, meet local people and fully immerse myself in their traditions and beliefs.

I am most at home in the great outdoors and have a particular love for the ocean. To date, I've traveled extensively through Europe, Asia and Latin America. I also lived in Australia for a year (where I met my partner in a hostel) and have travelled around my own country as well.

I am a fully qualified photographer and journalist, with an honours degree in photographic design and journalism studies from Massey University. I have worked previously as a professional photographer with experience in event and studio photography and graphic design, as well as social media management and content creation. For the past two years, I have worked as a copywriter for a digital marketing agency and am now pursuing travel writing full time. I am a skilled writer and editor, and hope to one day make it as a professional travel writer.

As well as my artistic capabilities, I have experience in customer service, including but not limited to hospitality and retail work. I also have experience with children and child care - I worked as an au pair in France!

I am also quite handy and am currently renovating my own flat in Glasgow. I would love to learn more about construction work. I have a particular interest in tiling as I am currently refurbishing my bathroom.

I am a fully qualified EFL teacher. Although I've never used my TEFL qualification, I'd love the opportunity to teach english one day.

I also love art and culture, have a great interest in history and would love to become bilingual. I have a particular fondness for painting - I recently completed a mural in my Aunt's home.
