Description
Hi! I recently finished my Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and Technology in Zurich, and before starting my Master’s, I’ve decided to take a gap year to step out of the libraries and (re)discover the world.
To start this year, I’m looking for a peaceful place to stay for 10 days to 2 weeks in September, ideally somewhere surrounded by nature and animals. I grew up with many cats and have always loved being around animals. I also used to ride horses for many years, and even though I had to stop during my studies, I really miss being around them!
I’m independent, sociable, and find joy in the little things. I’ve been lucky to travel a lot with my family, by camper van or backpacking, around Europe, Asia, and America. This past year, I did an exchange semester in Toronto, Canada, and also traveled through some national parks and down to Mexico.
I love exploring new places and cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, experiencing different ways of life, and being able to contribute in a meaningful way. I’m really excited for what’s to come and would love to be part of your project!Interests

More details about your skills
I’m a quick learner and happy to help with a wide variety of tasks. I’ve grown up taking care of animals, especially cats, and have spent several years around horses, so I’m very comfortable helping with basic animal care. I also enjoy being active outdoors and don’t mind getting my hands dirty if there’s gardening or farm work to be done.
I’ve been regularly doing babysitting for several years and also give weekly tutoring sessions in various subjects, sometimes to students with learning difficulties. I really enjoy supporting and encouraging others, especially children and teenagers.
I’m organized, reliable, and used to working independently. I’ve planed many trips and managed logistics during my travels, which makes me adaptable and good at problem-solving in new situations.
I also occasionally work at international humanitarian conferences, where I have the opportunity to interact with diplomats and participants from over 100 different countries and cultures. Additionally, I regularly volunteer at events, both at university through student associations and during the International Horse Show in Geneva every year, where I help with client service and organizing activities.
I’m curious, motivated, and always open to learning something new!Age
