Hi there! Thanks for visiting my profile. I'm Eliza (she/her) (26) originally from California but have been traveling the last few years. I love meeting new people, seeing new places, experiencing new cultures and foods. I decided to join work away as connecting with people is a highlight of traveling for me—sharing meals, stories, laughs and games (I have plenty I can teach and also love to learn new ones!) and I've heard this is an amazing way to of that. I love to play sports! I'll try anything (tennis, basketball, pickle ball) but am pretty beach volleyball obsessed. I'm also a certified yoga teacher and love to share this with others. Being outside bring me so much joy! Beach, river, mountains, forest, it doesn't matter. I always want to experience the natural ecology in new places.

I have 8 years of both childcare and hospitality experience. I worked as a waitress and a nanny through college and after (I have a degree in Political Science that I don't use in a professional sense). I grew up in a rural area and have a basic knowledge of gardening, land maintenance and care for most types of farm animals. I rode and showed horses throughout my childhood. While it's been many years since I've ridden regularly. I'm still comfortable around them, taking care of them and confident in my riding ability. I am genuinely like cooking and people tend to enjoy what I make:) I am a new yoga teacher and would love the opportunity to gain more experience.
