Just returned from a sabbatical to Indonesia and Taiwan in May. Want to improve my Indonesian and Chinese.

Description

Languages have always been my passion. I’m fluent in English, Mandarin, and Indonesian. I've been blessed with the opportunity to teach English in rural Indonesia during my previous Workaway stints and have done English-Chinese translation work for an inspiring Taiwanese NGO. My dream is to travel the world, collecting stories that will keep me company when I am old, frail, and alone.

As I come into my mid-thirties, I find myself reflecting more on the purpose of life and the legacy I want to leave behind. I’m driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact on others and to be part of something greater than myself. Hence, I am looking to spend time with less privileged people in other parts of the world, with hopes of visiting Africa next.
