Description
Hello! We’re Edi (30) and Dan (35), a positive and down-to-earth couple from the UK. We quit our jobs earlier this year to go travelling in South America, New Zealand, Australia, and South East Asia.
Previously, I was a project manager at a London university and Dan worked as a Health and Safety Advisor in the construction industry. I am the organised one who loves a checklist and keeping things on track. Dan is the practical one, good at DIY and also a great cook!
We have had two really positive Workaway experiences so far: 5 weeks in Bolivia at an ecolodge helping with hospitality and housekeeping, and 2 weeks in New Zealand house-sitting and dog-sitting for a couple while also helping in the garden and to build a patio.
We are both proactive people and happy to get stuck in and help. We are clean and respectful and also love animals, so if you have dogs and cats that’s a bonus!

Edi:
I have a background in project management, customer service, event coordination, and retail/hospitality. I also have childcare and babysitting experience, and previously spent six months in Canada as an Au Pair.
Dan:
Dan currently works as a health and safety advisor and has some experience in construction, meaning he is practical and hands-on. He is skilled in basic DIY and maintenance and he’s happy to get stuck into any physical or outdoor tasks. He is also a great cook!
Together, we are friendly and reliable, and love to have a laugh along the way! We’re excited to meet new people, learn new skills, and contribute wherever we can.

Edi has previously done a lot of solo travelling to Nepal, Kilimanjaro, Mozambique, Canada and America. Dan has visited various places in Europe and has also been to North Africa, America, and the Caribbean.
