Description
I'm Dylan, and I'm looking to get stuck in to some new experiences and make new friends here on Workaway.
I'm very self-sufficient, strongly motivated and love to get stuck in. I am very quick to learn new skills and adapt to new workflows, embracing them with an open mind. I am very comfortable with solitude but I love spending time with others.
In my free time, if I am not able to get out into nature, I can most often be found engaging with some kind of art. Most likely to be photography, film, music or books. I tend to go to several gigs a week and enjoy all genres of music and film.
I studied music production at university and spent 3 years working as a music technician in a music university, so any opportunity to engage with creative endeavors or local music will be cherished.Interests

I am bilingual and have dual citizenship - English and French, so I am freely able to travel within the EU.
I worked for 3 years at a university in London in the estates and facilities department, maintaining the campus. This not only included the physical building (replacing door locks, repainting rooms, installing cabling and trunking, replacing toilet seats, making sure everything is safe and looks good, and pretty much anything else that would come up). But I would also be in charge of maintaining the musical equipment, both physical and digital so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of maintenance and DIY projects from my time here.
I am very tech savvy and have been using computers since I was 3 years old, I studied computer science, mathematics and physics until I was 18 and have a deep understanding of how technology works and can troubleshoot most issues that would arise.
I have worked in retail sectors, volunteering at Oxfam charity shop for a year and a half, as well as my role at the university being student facing and dealing with customers/students constantly throughout each day.
I am very methodical and good at troubleshooting and finding solutions to issues in an efficient way.
I am always looking to improve myself and love to get stuck in to new experiences and opportunities, if you need an extra pair of hands for anything, chances are I would love to help you out and would cherish the opportunity, do not hesitate to get in touch!Age
