Hey, I'm Colombe, I'm just 18 years old and I've decided to go on an adventure this year before I start university!
I'm curious about the world around me and want to learn as much as possible during this year. My main aim is to learn English, but I'd also like to learn about farming and animal husbandry, or even crafts!
At the same time I've been visiting other European countries, starting with Ireland and Scotland.
Despite my young age, I'm very resourceful in my life and I like to excel when I'm passionate about something!

Work experience ?
I was a waitress in a mountain refuge in Switzerland for 3 months this summer, and that job forged me and helped me to get to know myself better!
I'm a quick learner and I'm persistent in my work.

Education ?
I did a baccalauréat in agronomy and landscaping. I'd like to work in sustainable development in the future. That's why I'm going to do a degree in geography and regional development after this gap year!

What do I like in life?
I've been riding for 10 years, and I love the fact that I can create a relationship with this animal and grow together.
I love painting and doing all kinds of manual activities, even if I'm not really talented at it. It calms me down and helps me to concentrate on what I'm doing.
Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved sailing, including catamarans, optimists, windsurfing and lots of other types of sailing. So why not try and get the chance to do some during this trip!
I'm counting on this trip to discover different cultures and landscapes, as well as travellers and locals to share moments of life!
 
I really enjoy cooking, so I can introduce people to new dishes, so I'd be delighted to show you some of my local dishes.
