Hello, we are Divya and Daniel! We have been best friends for 10 years and have a passion for exploring the world and embracing diverse cultures! We are excited to gain a local perspective of Australia while sharing experiences and contributing to the communities we encounter.

Divya: Hi! I'm a prospective medical student with a dedication to serving my community and a love for all living things! I graduated college in 2022 with a B.S. in Biology and have since completed a service year working with a children's hospital in Chicago, IL. As an Indian-American, I frequently visit India and love sharing my culture and experiences with others (especially food!). In my free time, I love socializing and being active, and will find any excuse to get outdoors. I am hard-working and learn quickly, and am excited to live and work in a new environment!

Daniel: Glad to meet you! I've had a love of traveling since I was a little kid, and I'm excited to have finally made it to Australia! I'm a beginner data analyst, but I'm no stranger to physical labor. I've worked in a kitchen at a small, family-owned restaurant, at a Wal-Mart (a big box supermarket chain the the States), and done odd jobs for family and friends for years. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so I don't like stopping a project until the job is done. I love being active, and I'm always ready for new experiences!

Divya: I have tons of experience in the service industry, ranging from being a barista at Starbucks to working in a hospital kitchen! I can also do basic maintenance tasks with some guidance and have some experience painting house/bedroom walls. I love to cook, especially for others, and enjoy preparing flavorful dishes such as channa masala!

Daniel: I have quite a bit of experience in light physical yardwork and handiwork, such as helping lay the groundwork for a personal greenhouse, clearing a yard that had been overgrown for a couple of years, and around-the-house projects such as hanging shelves, laying paving stones, as well as power-washing and staining a deck.
