Hello!
My name is Dmitrij or simply just Dimi.

It has been three years since my first Workaway journey in 2022. I was 20 at the time (now I am 24) and had never visited France or Italy before. In France, near Chaumont, I met a lovely British-German couple and their children, and I mainly helped them with gardening and housekeeping. Alongside me, there were two other Workawayers: Andrea from Italy and Uwe from Germany. We are still in touch today. After that, I traveled to Italy, where I assisted an Irish couple with electrical work and roof cementing. Meeting new people has been the most exciting part of the journey.

I would love to repeat this wonderful experience and travel to the Nordic regions of Europe, such as Sweden. I am more technically inclined and grew up in large metropolitan cities like Moscow, so I truly value the opportunity to connect with nature. I am physically fit, have an engineering mindset, and am always happy to help. Although I am not highly experienced with hands-on work, I am eager to learn and contribute as much as possible.

I enjoy reading and filming with my analog camera. I am also very active, enjoy sports, and like going for long walks. I believe I am good at connecting with people and building relationships. I appreciate the chance to experience new cultures and gain different perspectives on life.

Currently, I live in Zandvoort aan Zee in the Netherlands, where I can see the sea from my window—it is very relaxing. Before that, I lived and studied in Germany. My native language is Russian, and I also have a working proficiency in both German and English.

As I wrote earlier, I almost did not work with my hands. My experience is only 2 weeks as workawayer. This lack I could replace with enthusiasm and speed of learning. In addition, I am an athlete and I am sure that I can withstand up to 8 hours in the field.
I am also sociable and friendly. You will not have any problems to comunicate with me
