Hi there!

I'm Denis, born in Latvia but grew up in New York City. I've studied Economics in the UK, and then went on to work in Marketing in Amsterdam. I'm an experienced traveler and volunteer and have hitched, backpacked and couchsurfed in more than 30 countries by now. I freelance as a marketing strategist and producer. Besides all of that, I'm an aspiring artist and filmmaker.

Over the years I have dug ditches, painted roofs, coded websites, and made video advertisements of ostriches (really), not to mention the number of hotels that I worked in. But most I value the people that I meet, and the connections that linger and reverberate as if strings on some universal instrument throughout life. That's what matters in the end.
