Hello my name is David Lossing, I am excited to join your team! I have 20+ years devoted to "kitchen life", and have risen to the top with out a Culinary degree. I manage crews of people from 5 to 35, and love teaching and problem solving. I have passion for cooking, and learning new skills. Since the age of 18 I have used my culinary skills to travel all over the United States and work while traveling. But this is by no means all I have to offer, I love the outdoors for recreation, from hiking to fishing, to canoeing and kayaking. I have limited skills in wood working, and gardening, but would love to increase on that knowledge. There is something to be said for building something with your hands.
I have been cooking since the age of 16.
Managed a crew from 5 to 35 employees in a fast paced, challenging environment.
Lived and traveled all over the U.S. since the age of 18, from Alaska to Florida.
Built a porch and woodshed from scratch up in remote Alaska ( everything from the ground up, to cutting down trees to make lumber to finished product.)
Fairly proficient in alternative ways to catch and harness water for gardening.
Fostered anywhere from 2 to 10 dogs (mixed breed rescues) per month for 7 years.
Managed food and equipment orders ranging from 10,000 to 18,000 twice per week.
Have ServSafe Manager Certification, Food Handlers card active now in CA, AK, MN, WA.
