Hello! I'm a Stage Manager in Theatre and Artist from Melbourne Australia. I'm a very happy and positive person and I love to work hard. I'm also very attentive to details, respectful of my surroundings, and quick to pick up new skills. I have happily used Workaway multiple times in Spain, Portugal, the UK, and India and had a wonderful time.

In past Workaways I've offered help with graphic design for flyer/poster design, website creation, and logo creation. I have also happily worked in gardens, on building projects (stone walls, creating a pond, kitchen renovation, etc), completed kitchen-work (meal prep, cleanup) and completed all kinds of general house maintenance (painting, basic carpentry, fixing furniture, etc). I've also I have a degree in Music and have taught it for years, so very happy to teach piano, drums. I also have a graduate diploma in philosophy, so equally happy to share my love of the English language and ideas!

Wow! What a beautiful place. Kirk and Johanna are really wonderful hosts - communicative, helpful, and friendly. I volunteered here for 3 weeks in total and it was a lovely experience. You can settle into a good rhythm with the work, and its never too exhausting. I went rafting near the end of my stay and it was a highlight of my time in Central… read more

Daniel was amazing! He was so helpful, and always with a great vibe and amazing attitude. The guests felt comfortable around him and had nothing but good things to say about him. Always with a nice personality manage to make everyone feel welcomed. We really enjoyed hosting Daniel here.

Working with Javier in Xela was an absolute pleasure. I felt valued and respected, and the hostel is a quaint and beautiful place to spend time. Daniel was simply fantastic. He was always up for a challenge, anything we asked him to do he did well and efficiently. Full of enthusiasm and always upbeat. Turned his hand to anything from making beds to painting. Would recommend him highly to absolutely anyone and we still miss him.

Sally, Steve, and Jack are tremendous hosts! They made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I spent just over two weeks living there and would highly recommend the experience. A wicked sense of humour and a great character, and a fantastic attitude to work makes Daniel a great workawayer to have had for this short period.
