Hi! My name is Dana, and I'm 26 years old. Since highschool I have always loved the French language and the country. After graduating and working for a year, I decided to quit my job to follow my dream: spending a few months living in France!

I'm very excited to be outdoors and active, to improve my French, and to dive deeper into the culture. I also have experience with volunteering and helping out around the house, and I'm always happy to lend a hand where needed.

I have some beginner experience with gardening and working outdoors. A few years ago, I did a Workaway in Italy where we helped out on the land, and for a couple years I also helped with harvesting apples/elderflower on a farm in Germany. I really enjoy being active and I'm always happy to learn new things.

One of my biggest hobbies is cooking—because besides preparing food, I also love eating good food! Enjoying food together has always been very important in my family. I have experienced lots of different cuisines and really trying out new recipes. I enjoy cooking for others, learning new dishes from the people I meet and sharing the food together.

I'm someone who gets along easily with others. I've worked in lots of different cafes and restaurants since I was young. I also have experience with childcare—right now, I'm looking after a one-year-old baby, which I really enjoy.
