Description
Hello there! It's great to meet you, my name is Cian. I'm currently a college student studying computer science, and I have a passion for exploring new places and meeting new people.
As someone who loves meaningful conversations, I enjoy discussing topics such as philosophy, history, religion, and politics. As someone who cares deeply about animals and ethics, I believe in treating all living beings with respect and kindness. I am vegan and enjoy learning about different foods and experimenting with cooking. Another passion of mine is music - I play the piano, guitar, violin, and ocarina.
Growing up homeschooled, I taught myself various skills such as woodwork, electronics, building electric bikes, and computer programming. I love taking on projects, no matter the size! When I'm not busy, I enjoy staying active with friends or exploring new areas on my bike. However, some quiet moments or board games are also welcome.
I had the amazing opportunity to travel to China in 2019, which sparked my interest in its language and culture. From the bustling cities to ancient temples and sites, I found myself fascinated by everything I encountered (quite different from rural Wisconsin). That's why I'm currently learning Mandarin and have a deep desire to travel more.
Additionally, I have experience volunteering at food pantries, homeless shelters, and camps for adults and children with disabilities. Through these experiences, I've learned the importance of interacting with people of all ages - from listening to the stories of older folks to the curiosity and open-mindedness of young children.Interests
