Description
Hello! We are Cleo and Zoe, two friends who have just finished our studies and are taking a gap year to travel the world and discover new places and cultures. We are both social, curious and open-minded people who are looking to broaden our horizons and have some memorable experiences. We love nature, animals, staying healthy and active, and we are big foodies who are excited to try many new cuisines from all the countries we are visiting in the upcoming year :D We really enjoy connecting with new souls and easily get along with people, so we are really looking forward to meet all the lovely hosts who would like to have us for a bit as their Workawayers :)

More details about your skills
Cleo: I’ve studied Humanitarian Logistics, and I have experience working with NGOs, which has taught me a lot about teamwork, adaptability, and staying organized even in challenging situations. I really enjoy being part of projects that have a positive impact.
I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty , I’ve worked in construction, and I enjoy all kinds of manual work. I also have a bit of experience in electricity and plumbing, and I’m always eager to learn more from skilled people.
In the kitchen, I’m happy to help cook meals and share recipes (or learn yours!). I’m not a chef, but I enjoy cooking for others and working as part of a team.
I’ve also been involved in an association that supports children with their homework, so I’m patient and enjoy spending time with kids, whether it's helping them study or just playing and having fun.
//
Zoe: I am a psychology graduate, with a specialization in clinical psychology. I've always been a very empathetic person, but I think my degree has made me better at understanding the complexity of human nature and overall a better communicator & listener! These skills come in handy for me when I travel and meet people from different cultures.
Onto some more technical skills, I really enjoy cooking and baking, and love sharing my creations with others :) I have some experience working in the food industry, having previously worked in a restaurant and in a creperia.
I also have experience in working with kids as I've tutored English to elementary school kids, and also done many babysitting gigs. I get along well with children and can make learning fun and interactive for them through creative and tailored classes.
Finally, I have some skills relating to gardening and taking care of animals. I've done many petsitting jobs over the last 5 years (taking care of dogs and cats) and I've volunteered at a bird shelter, which has taught me a lot about handling animals. In regards to gardening, those skills were passed down by my mom :)
