Description
Hey there! I'm Carolin, and if my friends could sum me up in three words, they'd say I'm enthusiastic, positive, and bursting with energy. Since I was a kid, I've always had an adventurous spirit, ready to explore new horizons and step out of my comfort zone with a big smile on my face.

Workaway is my perfect playground—not just for traveling, but for diving headfirst into new cultures, lifestyles, and all the wonders this world has to offer. Along the way, I've met some incredible people who’ve become lifelong friends. And yes, I’m that person who carries a sketchbook everywhere :)

By day, I’m a freelance graphic designer and part-time architecture studio wizard. My love for animals is huge, especially horses. I've been around them since forever, and I’m also great with cows, chickens, alpacas, donkeys, cats, dogs—you name it! If it’s farm work, I’m your go-to helper.

My adventure resume includes waitressing at bustling restaurants and market festivals, herding sheep in Switzerland, caring for rescue dogs in Bulgaria, managing social media for an NGO, blogging for youth hostels in Germany, making ice cream from scratch, working with sled dogs in Norway, fruit harvesting in the Caribbean, cooking up a storm for big groups, living in a vibrant community of 30 people in Tenerife, and rocking out at local music festivals.

I'm always up for trying something new and exciting. Can’t wait to meet you and share some awesome adventures!

I’m a jack-of-all-trades with a knack for learning new skills. Over the past few years and through my travels, I've gained experience in farm work, horse riding, cooking, bartending, gardening, art projects, social media marketing, and carpentry. I love building and crafting—at one of my recent hosts, I built shelves, a house for a sheep, fences, and other wooden creations.

I've studied Graphic Design, a field that brings together many of my passions like painting, photography, architecture, video editing, illustration, content creation, and visual communication. Since that I gained a lot of experience through different projects and jobs, now working as a freelance designer.

Music is another big part of my life. I enjoy playing the ukulele, a bit of guitar, and the piano. In the summer, I often work with kids at vacation camps and as a travel blogger for youth hostels in Germany. I pride myself on having a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to social media and creating engaging posts.

I'm eager to help out in any way I can. I'm committed to doing my best, continually learning, and improving my skills and myself. Let me know how I can help you!
