Hallo! Wir sind Rainie (Jiching) & Hayne (Pokhei), ein junges Paar aus Hongkong. Wir lernen Deutsch und sind seit Oktober 2024 mit unserem Working-Holiday-Visum in Wien. Wir freuen uns!

We are passionate travellers currently on a working holiday in Austria since October 2024. Based in Vienna, we are learning German (A2 level) and love exploring different cultures. Before Austria, we stayed in the Netherlands for half years, visited over 8 countries in Europe, and enjoyed immersing ourselves in new experiences and cultures.

Both of us are language enthusiasts, especially fond of Japanese and Korean. We also have a deep love for animals—back in Hong Kong, we regularly fed stray cats on our campus, and Rainie has hands-on experience caring for animals in shelters and a veterinary clinic.

We are open to all kinds of tasks, whether household chores, outdoor work, or even helping with kids through language exchange or simple English/Chinese/Japanese/Korean lessons. We are also happy to help with animal care, whether it’s farm animals or household pets.

In our professional life, we both worked as editors in online media and occasionally do freelance work on our computers. We’re always eager to learn new things and embrace new possibilities. Looking forward to meeting and sharing experiences with you! 😊

We are a curious and adaptable couple, always eager to learn and share our skills with others.

Languages & Teaching: We are native Cantonese speakers and fluent in Mandarin and English. We are currently learning German (A2 level) in Vienna and have a strong passion for Japanese and Korean. We are happy to help with language exchange or simple English/Chinese lessons. Not professional, but we have a little touch of it!

Animal Care: We both love animals and have experience caring for stray and shelter cats in Hong Kong. Rainie worked in a veterinary clinic for half a year, gaining hands-on experience with various animals. We are also open to caring for farm animals and household pets.

Practical Skills & Work Experience: We both worked as online media editors, handling writing, video production, and social media. With years of experience working with computers, we are comfortable handling gadgets like cameras, video cameras, and smartphones. We have experience in photo and video editing, as well as working with various applications and digital tools. We also have a bit of knowledge in videography and content creation.
