Hello! My name is Charlie! I'm from the state of Oregon, USA.
I am currently living in Brooklyn, New York and I plan to spend October visiting Peru. I love learning languages and I am very respectful of cultural differences. There are many ways to see things. I've taught English abroad as part of my Peace Corps volunteer work and at previous Workaways.

I'm tidy, a hard worker, an not afraid to get my hands dirty in the garden or around the house.

I work at a tech company and I am good with technology (especially operational efficiency and customer service). I'm not a software engineer.

At university I spent time with international students from China and Japan helping them improve their English. I would like to do a language exchange with a Spanish/English or French/English speaker to help them improve their English and to improve my Spanish or French.

Charlie is friendly ,polite and a pleasure to host. From the beginning we knew Charlie would be a worker and fun to have on the property. He did all work as requested with care and ownership, if he was unsure of details we would not hesitate to ask. We had 3 other workers here and he got along with all of them. He is welcome back anytime.

Monica and Mark and Rio gave me the most fantastic Workaway experience I can imagine. They were uniformly so kind, accommodating, and fun that truly the whole two weeks were a pleasure. The time went by WAY too fast!
