Hey there, hosts and travellers, I am from the Czech Republic from a very small village with nature around.
I would love to contribute to the local community or help people with their projects. Volunteering is a unique experience to get to know people you would never cross paths with while using new skills and exploring the world. I hope to meet like-minded people like me. I love cultures and new languages and I am always up to learning something new. I have lived in two countries the UK and Spain. I have backpacked almost all around L atin America from Central America till South America. I am an active person into sports and dancing like salsa and bachata.

I have volunteered for an NGO in northern Spain. I worked with blind elderly people for almost a year in an organisation ONCE. I was helping them with daily tasks like doing grocery shopping, and accompanying them to classes of yoga, dance, and braille. On the weekends take them to hikes or events for people with visual impairment or just spend time with them and to have someone to talk to. I really liked this experience because I gained so much wisdom from them and values which are important in life and I would love to contribute to this community again.

I have volunteered in a hostel in Guatemala, Antigua. I was helping out on reception, which included as well providing information about shuttles around Guatemala and countries close by, trips, hikes and tours. Other duties were preparing breakfast and dinner for guests, doing laundry or helping a host with some tasks which they would ask.

Another skill which I could provide for the host would be some basic maintenance on the house, gardening. I am a pretty handy person so some manual work it's no problem for me.
