Hi, I’m Chihiro, a curious and creative soul from Japan🇯🇵
People often describe me as a gentle and caring person, and I love connecting with others through shared experiences and small joys in everyday life.

After several years working as a UX designer, I decided to take a break to explore new cultures, meet inspiring people, and experience different ways of living.
I’m passionate about human connection, storytelling, and finding joy in everyday moments.

In May, I completed the Camino de Santiago — walking over 800 km across Spain. More recently, I volunteered for five weeks at an albergue (pilgrims’ hostel), helping with cleaning, check-ins, welcoming guests, and cooking. It was a wonderful experience that taught me a lot about hospitality and community.

Back in Japan, I also worked as a weekend tour guide, introducing international visitors to Japanese culture, traditions, and historic places.
During university, I joined NGO projects in Indonesia and Nepal, building homes alongside local carpenters.
I also had a homestay in Finland, where I helped care for two young girls — a heartwarming experience that reminded me how naturally connection can grow through daily life.
