*UPDATE: Currently doing a workaday in Nozawa Onsen, Looking for our next workaway in Japan, from around April 2024 onwards*

Hi Guys,

We are a British couple both 32, we have been travelling and working seasonally for the last 6 years. We love camping, hiking, tea, gardening and farming, coffee, food, skiing, surfing, snowboarding amongst many other things! We are currently living and working in Australia, moving to Japan in December for 3 month, and plan to visit Indonesia before returning to Australia in June.

Our long term aim is to have our own small holding, and wish to volunteer for the foreseeable future and learn skills to achieve this one day. We have lived off grig, in vans and tens, worked on farms, we have lived in big city's and worked the 9-5, lived communally and in isolation. We are fast learners and hard workers, if a shift starts at 5am, then we will see you at 5am.

Cam (UK). I grew up in the Lake District National Park in the UK, and studied Architecture in London. I love the mountains and travel, forever fascinated by other cultures and lifestyles different to my own. I enjoy getting involved and am not at all shy of a hard days work, so I am always looking for a new challenge. I wouldn't mind learning a few new tricks, that's why work away is so appealing! Couldn't think of a better way to travel!

Danielle (UK). I grew up living on site at my Mum & Dad's Kennels and Cattery, where I worked from age 12-21! I have lots of experience with animals and working outdoors. I would love to learn more about sustainability, farming and growing food. I have done volunteering through Workaway before, in hostels in Thailand & in Europe. I just want to carry on seeing the world, learning and meeting new people. While working in Ski resorts in Canada I l cleaned and maintained private chalets, worked on the reception of hotels and hosted at restaurants.
