  • Description

    Hello!

Our names are Ben and Tori and we are excited to connect with hosts and the places we visit more deeply through Workaway. We just finished a seasonal job working in outdoor education leading kids ages 8-16 on team building activities and adventures such as canoeing, backpacking, rock climbing and mountain biking.

Tori has spent the past three years teaching middle school science and is taking a year off to travel and see more of the world. Ben began his professional experience in a chemistry lab, but left that in October of 2021 to start his own academic tutoring business which has been growing steadily since.

We are both people who find fulfillment in our work and projects and are happiest traveling when we find our selves getting familiar with a place that is “off the beaten path” where we can establish routines and structure the fun in our day around concrete goals or tasks.

An ideal Workaway position for us might include small scale farming/homesteading, landscaping and construction, or teaching/tutoring. We'd love to hear from you!
