Description
Feeling like there was more out there, I recently quit my job and moved out of my apartment so I could travel for a year with a few goals in mind.
I want to use this free point in my life to experience new lifestyles and new environments (especially in nature) different than what I’ve been exposed to. I hope to feel immersed in a new culture and eventually able to connect with locals in their own language (Spanish). Not particularly satisfied with my previous career, I also hope to explore different types of work that should give me a better idea of what gives me satisfaction, fulfillment, and is something I’m good at. I suspect that the fulfillment aspect is key: I want to feel like my work has a positive impact on something that matters.
Beyond the goals of this travel period, I feel endlessly curious - new experiences are what make me feel most alive. That can be seeing new places, meeting new people, learning new skills, or just learning more about our world. I approach everything with the mindset of making the most of it - living in the present and enjoying what’s in front of me.Interests

More details about your skills
Professionally, I have a background in design and experience across various multimedia: photo, video, graphics, branding, and websites. My most recent role was an “envisioner”, where I was responsible for creating compelling visual narratives of future customer journeys or future products and services.
I enjoy woodworking and have some basic home construction and renovation experience, both paid and volunteer work including: framing, painting, flooring, roofing, cleaning, as well as a little bit of gardening (weeding, planting, watering). I have no problem getting my hands dirty and enjoy learning these hands on skills.
I also feel natural working with kids, with volunteering experience including:
Assisting at summer camps (including for kids with special needs)
