Description
Hi! My name is Berta, I am 26 years old and I live near Barcelona (Spain).
I graduated in psychology and I'm currently looking for new experiences to help me grow in other areas. I am getting myself more and more involved into rural activities, and I am looking to explore this part of myself to see if it is something I actually want to persue in my future. Even though I grew up in a big city, I'm slowly discovering that I feel more like myself when I'm in these kind of environments. I would love to improve my skills that are required to live a rural and self sufficient lifestyle (gardening, building, farming, etc). I feel like I'm a fast learner, but I'm also semi new at this, so if you're looking for an expert or someone who does things perfectly first try, it is not me. If you have a little bit of time and patience to explain things in detail and you give me a safe space to ask questions, I will probably not have any problem learning and I will be able to work independently soon enough.
I consider myself a pretty responsible person, but I also like to have fun. I love spending time in nature, swimming in the sea or lake, hiking, being around animals, camping, dancing, singing (even though I'm not that good), playing guitar, doing yoga, cooking, having interesting conversations with new people...
I love my friends and they're basically my second family. I think friendship is one of the most important things in life, so I can't wait to make some new friends around the world.
I try to be very conscious of how the things I do will affect the environment. I've been eating mostly vegeterian for ten years now, and I try to be careful about the things I use/consume.
I would say I adapt easily to new enviroments and I'm an open-minded person. I always try to stand up against injustice and take part in several forms of activism. I would love to participate in a judgement-free project, where everyone is welcome and treated as an equal.
I'm looking forward to my next adventure!!
