My name is Ben Forman; I'm 19 years old, coming from New York City, and am currently taking a gap year after graduating last year from boarding school in Andover, Massachusetts. I have two older sisters, an adorable mini golden doodle named Maggie, and my dad lives in Florida with my stepmom and two half-siblings. I'm passionate about sustainability and have worked to integrate Climate Education into my high school, along with being part of clubs that work to get Climate Legislation into government. Besides that, I'm very into mindfulness/meditation (I have daily practice), I love comedy (I have done stand-up/improv), and I am looking to explore/connect with as many people as possible this year!

I've worked in two summer camps (one in CT and one in NY), babysat, and have ample experience working with children anywhere from the ages of 2-12. I also have six cousins and two much younger half-siblings, so I have a ton of experience (and truly enjoy) looking after kids. I've also volunteered in a community garden for two summers, helping plant/harvest crops for the food insecure in my community. Besides that, I've thrived in school, finishing Cum Laude at Phillips Andover (a boarding school in MA) and enjoy computer science and sustainability work. Although I don't have immense work experience, I'm a great learner, energetic, upbeat, and ready to take on a challenge with a smile!
