 - Description- My desire to go abroad has urging me forever to leave behind my life in Germany for a while. But convenience and opportunities kept me here. On my 30th birthday, I decided it's finally time. I am more than fed up on the Western central European culture and I wish to meet new people, learn about their cultures, their way of life, their reality :) I'm especially looking for volunteer opportunities around community building with locals. I truly want to contribute to a change! I'd also love to stay on farms, help with harvests and production and care for animals as far as my allergies allow me to (I love them so much!) I am as well an artist at heart who needs to experience, touch, smell and taste things to take them in, which means I am not squeamish and ready to get my hands dirty with whatever work is needed :)
 I'm ready for my adventure!

 - Languages- Languages spoken
 German: Fluent
 English: Fluent
Spanish: Beginner- More details about my language interests
So there was this time I studied in Spain for 6 months, fell in love with the language and didn't learn a single word there because I never really got to leave my circle of english-speaking abroad students. I regret that deeply and wish to make up for that now. My Duolingo-Spanish is incredibly basic but I learn way faster when I actually use a language.
 - Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn- I'm interested in:- Charity Work - Eco Projects - Being an elderly companion - Gardening - DIY and building projects - Animal Care - Life at a Farmstay - General Maintenance - House sitting - Some knowledge of:- Teaching - Helping around the house - Hospitality/Tourism - Able to teach about:- Art Projects
 - More details about your skills- I'm a classic jack of all trades when it comes to artistic practices. I sing, I play basic guitar and piano, I write poems and stories. I can also draw and craft with various materials. Thanks to my study in applied cultural science, I know a lot of stuff about how socio-cultural structures are reflected in media and thanks to my bad academic memory, I can't quote a single source. After my study, I've worked at the theater for several years. Those skills combined I'd say I'm great for cultural work of all kind, especially community building, women's/LGBTQ+ rights and arts & crafts courses for children and adults. I don't want to limit myself on that though.
 - Age- 31
 - What else ...- UPDATE:
I'm about to finish my first workaway experience on a farm in Denmark soon where I learned practical skills like caring for plants, harvesting and manufacture fruits, care for animals (goats, chicken and ducks) :)
 Generally about me:
I'm a natural born explorer. I want to find, experience and understand as many new things as possible and I usually learn new skills quickly. Thus, I would love to find a stay that does not limit me to the skills I already have. I want to learn how to build a hut, care for a garden, produce goods with my bare hands, handle fruit, write poetry in a new language, hike where I've never been before, live in another culture than the one I grew up in. The world is big and so is my curiosity.
 - Some more information - Smoker
 - Driver's licence
 - Allergies
animal hair and straw/hay when inside a stable. So, no stable work for me. Open air animal care is not a problem!
 - Special dietary requirements
I prefer vegetarian food but will eat meat to try a wide range of local food
