Description
My name is Aivan, I'm 22 years old, and I want to try out this (hopefully) mutually rewarding way of exploring the world and the wonderful, interesting people living with it:)
I recently graduated from university and ever since study abroad, I've been itching to expand my perspectives through interacting with people from different places. I'm also interested in occupational health so I wanted to be a bit more grounded and experienced so I can better connect with people across different occupations in the future! People are doing all kinds of interesting and often difficult work out there and I would love to learn about it through experience!
I'm personally interested in ways people are living more sustainably and more connected to the spaces they occupy (physically and non-materially). I don't have much experience in living a self-sufficient lifestyle so I'm so eager to learn and spread that knowledge if anyone is willing to teach/share:)
I love laughter so seeing what brings other people joy and sharing those moments is something that brings me happiness (among other things like eating good food haha)~Interests

I am a native English speaker (born and raised in California). I have a rusty knowledge of some basic Spanish, although I'm extremely out of practice so would love to practice and/or share the limited knowledge I have. (Took it in high school to Spanish 3 and a refresher course in university). My family is Vietnamese but my siblings and I grew up only speaking mostly in English, so I have a very novice, and non-formal skill level in Vietnamese and would love to improve it to better connect with my more elderly family and for other reasons as well! Would be happy to share whatever I know (albeit, limited knowledge) in any of these languages with those who are interested!Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

At university, I studied Sociocultural Anthropology and minored in Community Development. I have a lot of interest in different ways of living and seeing the world (particularly 'slow' living or alternatives to the very fast-paced profit-driven norm of the West) and also sustainable agricultural and community planning. I do not have much hands-on experience with either so I am extremely eager to learn from others in this!
Outside of school I have varied work experience ranging from aquatic sport instruction/coaching; swimming instruction; lifeguarding; occupational health and safety research in collaboration with local labor unions; health and wellness coaching and educational material production; general computer skills; and an introduction to welding among other things.
I have no medical limitations for physical work and would love to gain knowledge and experience helping out with projects and will provide my utmost attention and efforts to pick up any skills you are willing to share with me! My goal is to be helpful to you:)Age

I love trying new foods and will try almost anything activity-wise as long as I'm with the right group:) Just love trying new things and sharing a laugh with others!
In general, I loveeee being in the water!
I'm terrible at math and have terrible luck/wits when it comes to games but almost always have a blast playing with others!
Not incredibly athletically gifted but love trying out new sports as well!
I really enjoy seeing people's art or other ways they express themselves (visual arts, movement, crafts, writing, music, food, etc.)Some more information
