My names Ashlyn and I'm so excited to be traveling again! here's a bit about me:

I went backpacking for the first time in Palestine where I did a homestay, human rights internship and a work exchange at a hostel. The following summer I went to Iraqi Kurdistan to complete another human rights internship and then volunteered at a nonprofit in Turkey for disabled children.

I have a two year/ associate's degree in Philosophy and I'm currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies. In my free time I really enjoy art, music, photography and baking! I love to play guitar, ukulele, and banjo and am learning how to paint with watercolors.

Throughout my travels, I'm motivated by the joy of meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and contributing to meaningful projects.

I used to run a pretty successful online business so I picked up skills involving organization, product management, customer service and marketing :)

I feel the most at home outdoors and I'm proficient at gardening. I would love the opportunity to expand my knowledge of agriculture.

I spent some time working at a hostel and learned how to work reception and efficiently perform housekeeping chores (making beds, sweeping, mopping, etc.)

Kids hold a special place in my heart. I've spent a lot of time working with them, and it's been an incredibly rewarding experience. I know how to connect with them, have fun, and make sure they feel comfortable and supported.
