I've grown up in Los Angeles and my recent adulthood in New York City. As an Asian American, I've always had a longing for being closer to my mixed Asian heritage. I've traveled across Asia and studied abroad in Taiwan and through my travels, I've been continuing to open my perspective and exposure to different cultures not exclusive to Asia. I'm looking to have an immersive experience via workaway so that I can feel more proactive and involved in the communities that I visit.

More details about my language interests
I'm interested in learning Mandarin and Khmer. My father is Chinese but doesn't speak it. I learned it on my own at Taiwan's NTNU MTC program during a summer abroad. I'd like to continue learning Mandarin in an everyday way. I've learned to speak Khmer with my maternal grandparents and would like to strengthen it.

Professionally I've worked as Product Manager in Banking and Technology space. I've worked with a variety of personalities and backgrounds due to managing projects and I personally enjoy working around people. I like to maintain a healthy life so I'm physically able and have experience in construction and woodworking. I'm not shy to learning new technologies and skills.

I grew up playing music. I was in the Jazz band in school and an acoustic band with friends. I then moved from playing music as an instrument to dancing with it. I was part of my college competition hip hop team. I enjoy a wide variety of sounds still and currently experimenting with creating diverse playlists. I enjoy meditative walking and writing. I like expressing myself through fashion and enjoy architecture and design.
