Hello hello! My name is Angel and I'm from rural Iowa. I've been able to travel and live abroad, so I feel pretty familiar working with new people in different places doing a wide variety of tasks. I like working hard, but also really enjoy hanging out and getting to know the people around me. As for Workaway, I feel very comfortable with the exchange and really enjoy all it has to offer. I love animals and being able to cook for people too!

More details about your skills
I love being outside and am good at gardening, landscaping, general manual labor, light machinery (drills, lawn mowers, edge cutters) and working with all sorts of animals. I also have experience helping in kitchens, as a server, and in housekeeping. Working hard is important to me, but relaxing and laughing while getting to know others in the evening keeps me alive and grounded. In terms of 'hard' skills or physical work, I'm interested in opportunities to work on my carpentry skills and continuing my knowledge on sustainable living/gardening. As for the social side of this lovely exchange program, I can only hope to keep learning how this world works while hearing everyone's stories:)

I was able to delagate jobs to her straight away and she learned some tricky things very quickly - such as how to milk the goat. She also cooked some interesting meals from the Enchanted Broccoli Forest cook book...
