We are currently working in Twizel in a Bakery Café, but in the end of January leaving to explore Wanaka, Queenstown and the rest of the South Island.

Hello!
We are Andrea and Matyáš, Czech couple currently travelling and working in New Zealand.
We love doing all sort of sports while enjoying the beauty of the nature around us.
We enjoy learning all kinds of new skills, crafting from wood, growing food, cooking from harvested ingredients.
Matyas loves to repair or build bikes, he is very skilled at sewing; can make and repair everyday items if a sewing machine is available.

We both grew up in scouting and children’s outdoor groups, so living simply, being outdoors and off-grid feels natural to us.
Our dream is to have our own garden where we can grow most of our food. We are happy to learn, help, and gain practical experience along the way. We would love to meet skilled and kind people, support their projects, share experiences, and enjoy calm conversations about life.

We are hardworking, reliable, and physically fit, who enjoy working outdoors in nature in all weather conditions. We regularly practice a wide range of sports and are accustomed to physically demanding work. Our skills include gardening and outdoor maintenance, cooking and food preparation from home-grown ingredients, woodworking, and basic construction. Matyáš has experience in bicycle repair and construction as well as sewing. We are highly motivated, practical, and eager to learn new skills!
