Hello! :) I'm a 32 year old woman from Sweden. I'm curious and looking to learn about
self-sufficiency and permaculture, so I can start incorperating this more into my life in Sweden where I live in a summer house in the forest. My dream is to live in an enviroment where helping each other is the norm, with respect for everyone. Creating a little heaven on the countryside.

I love traveling and have done so for the last 12 years, on and off, living around the globe working or volunteering through workaway, helpX or local connections. Most of the times on farms but as well a dog-shelter where my 8 year old dog Britney is from, or in hostel enviroments.

I grew up on a farm in Sweden and having a beautiful time. To respect nature and all living beings is very important to me. I'd like to learn more about living in harmony, in both the relationship to nature and the one to myself. Right now I want to practice listening more carefully to everyone and myself.

I'm a hardworking and precise person, I don't do things just to get them done, I always want to do it right. While being efficient, and creative when it's needed of course! :)

I have been working in the service industry for my whole life and have a great eye for what has to get done, with love and detail.

I can help with heavy projects, I've been demolishing and building houses, worked in gardens and picked Champagne grapes for 3 years.

I can as well make deliscious food and care for people and animals of all kind, big or small.

I'm very good at organizing spaces and things, it's fun for me..! I have an artistic and crafty side as well that I like to share if wanted!

KITCHEN FAIRY EARTH AND ANIMAL LOVER

So willed to help with both hands and research she made our no dig vegetable garden start to happen: bringing up tons of earth on the wheel barrel, designing the spots, carefully learning the seeds that are happy to grow near by each other... and she was like magic in the kitchen, creating ever so happily so… read more nice foods and cleaning up super autonomously like nothing had ever happened.

One star dropped only because she realised after some days that she had to leave before the committed day, both because she took notice that in this travel and time she was more in a reading a book all day need for days and days and days, and because she had not fully interiorised how remote and thus far away we were from a 24 hours open veterinary clinic -which she needed one day. Her sweet dog did experience a swollen face and possible emergency and it was a huge quest to get her the clinical help timely -all perfect in the end. So, pet owners, know that here we have nature medicine and what the wisdom of the natural veterinary Juliette de Bairacli Levi can provide, so, many healing plants and easy home remedies not to find in other places... yet the 24 h clinical help for animals is 1h 30 min away... or even a bit further if the storm and rain and night makes the travel more tricky like it did this time.

We were very happy to see them come back all well : )

Britney, the dog, is super calm and gentle and cool. We felt very safe with having the child or cat or horse around her. The cat and her kept a bit more distance, and the boy learnt that she does not like to be approached in touch when she is laying down, and when she was standing she could soon be stroked anywhere, she ever so patient with the little one : )

They are both super clean, Alva cared to leave it all better than she found it, and this was much much appreciated : ) : ) : )

Also we super appreciate your warmth and honesty and willingness to go deep in conversation for any mutual understanding : )

We are seeing the first sprouts of the potatoes, garlics and some other seeds you put ready to be born ; ) Even though we did not plant them in the waning moon like we later learnt from the local peasant´s wisdom! : ) Thank you so much for making possible what, as you could see, for us without your help would have been totally impossible ; )

Best wishes for your super Summer job in Sweeden and know that you both can come again, most likely more relaxed for you and all in a no-pine-caterpilar-time.
