Hey, my name is Alma. I am 24 and about to finish my bachelor degree in social work - with a focus on music and movement. This already shows where my strenghts lie: I enjoy working with and meeting people, exchanging thoughts and views, learning from one another as well as supporting each other. Besides that I love to be outside - I love nature, almost every kind of movement, especially dancing, and making music.
I am a relaxed and easy-going person. The first things my friends might say about me could be my spontaneity and my sense of humor. Even though I might seem quiet at first, I am very sociable and outgoing.

During my studies of social work with focus on music and movement I gathered work experiences with children and adolescents as well as people with disabilities or migration backgrounds. I gave creative dancing lessons to children for one and a half years (from 2022-23).
After finishing my A-levels I did a voluntary service year in Bolivia, where I learned to speak Spanish working in a kindergarden and in a afternoon homework assistance. In the high school I helped the teacher giving basic English lessons. However I would like to improve my English skills, which is one of my motivations for going abroad.

I am open to a wide variety of work and can adapt quickly to new circumstances. Since I had to work a lot indoors on my laptop during my studies, I would be happy to do some physical work outdoors, like gardening, taking care of animals or manual work. I am very open to learning new things. In 2022 I participated in a work camp in Slovakia, where I was always able to lend a hand, like chopping and stacking wood, scything tall grass.
Cooking, especially with fresh seasonal vegetables, is one of my favourite hobbies. Another hobby of mine is music making. I enjoy playing piano and saxophone and also started learning to play the guitar.
