Hi, I'm Alina from Germany!
I've been travelling South East Asia for 3 months now and it's the best thing I could have done after graduating from school! I've met so many people who've taught me new skills and gave me new perspectives which I value immensely when visiting other countries. I’m most happy when I’m spending my time in nature or with friends and when I can loose myself in creative work like sewing, working with clay or cooking.Interests

I'm fluent in German and English and took Spanish lessons at school. Unfortunately I lost a lot of my Spanish skills due to not speaking it for two years now, but one of my new years resolutions for 2024 is improving it again.I'd be happy to teach other people German or help with English!Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

Back in Germany I was working as a cashier and waiting at a restaurant while still in school, so I have some experience working with customers from both of those fields. In my free time I always like to try new things and have basic knowledge of a lot of different artistic skills like drawing, crocheting, sewing, knitting, cooking and working with clay.
I spend a lot of time in nature and started to teach myself about local plants and their uses this year.
Over the last few month I worked on two farms which included feeding animals, weeding, mulching, watering plants and planting seeds/seedlings, making compost, cooking and building a clay oven.
While I may not be an expert in anything, I'm always eager to pick up new skills and do as best as I can.
I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty!Age

What else ...
I love reading for fun and also to learn about topics that interest me like environmental justice, anti-racism or feminism. I try to read diversely and I'm always eager to listen to people and their stories.
I spend a lot of my free time by myself in the forest when I'm at home! I love watching the animals, finding stuff for crafting like clay from the river or different kinds of natural fibre and also just how calm it makes me feel. I really want to help conserving this ecosystem and plan on studying forestry when I go back home. Some more information
