Hello! I am looking for any Workaway volunteering experiences in Canada ! I have an IEC visa so looking to spend a couple of weeks meeting new people and learning about life in Canada !

Description

I have just quit my job in the UK to live in Canada for a year! I have an IEC visa and the plan is to make my way to BC Canada from May-June 2024. I am a 24 year old who loves new experiences and meeting new people. I am excited to see what opportunities I can get from workaway!!!

I speak intermediate French although I am always looking to improve ! I would say that I am an extremely sociable person- I really enjoy meeting and talking to new people!
I used to be a young leader with girl guides so have lots of experience entertaining young children.
I am always cooking and have a strong interest in making and eating healthy meals with whole foods. This is something I am keen to get involved with in Canada.

In the past I have done Workaways at a garden project in the Pyrenees, France and also being a language companion in Northern Spain. I thoroughly enjoyed both experiences and am looking for similar in Canada.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a French language degree in 2022. Since then I have been working in the international office at the University of Huddersfield. I loved my job, interacting and supporting international students with their visas and their time in the UK however, I have recently decided to leave Huddersfield to experience life in Canada with my IEC visa!
I love travelling and meeting new people and exploring new places is one of my favourite things to do!
In my spare time I love going to the gym, reading about history and spending time with my friends and family !
