Hi!! My name is Alex, I am a 23 year-old lover of nature, animals, yoga, the ocean, and people, and I am excited to continue to travel the world and make connections and memories with unique places and communities. I studied Spanish in high school and college, and have explored and practiced my Spanish in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ecuador... I hope to continue exploring Spanish-speaking countries and eventually become fluent! I graduated from college in May 2025, where I studied Psychology, English, and Philosophy. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (200-hour) and have experience teaching both in the US and in Costa Rica.

I love to be outside and active. Swimming, hiking, biking, to name a few... and I am also a big ocean girl. I am a certified free diver, I love snorkeling, and I am a beginner surfer interested in learning more. I am a beginner surfer hoping to learn more. I love spending time around all animals and am a big dog and cat lover. I have some dog and house-sitting experience as well. While I love to be active, I am also very content with a simple view and a book, a card game, or some good conversation.

I am very interested in furthering my gardening/homesteading abilities. I love caring for animals and want to learn more about plant and garden care as well. I also spend a lot of time in the gym and am open to physical labor, lifting/moving heavy objects, and landscaping work. I am interested in natural building and creative projects too. I am interested in learning more about permaculture, farming, and caring/working with the ecosystem in ethical and harmonious ways.

I love to help and contribute in any way I can. I enjoy working in slow or fast-paced environments. I love to discover or create a project on my own, and I also love to contribute to team efforts. Essentially, I love to go with the flow! I am open to anything, and excited to learn new knowledge and skills while contributing to something bigger than myself. I look forward to meeting and connecting with you and contributing my positive energy to your home and community!

I love a balance between time to myself and in nature, and time getting to know people, share stories, connect, and have fun! I love board games, card games, table games (pool, etc.), and I love to spend time in nature! Hiking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, beach walking... I love to read and write! Always happy to share my yoga practice as well :)
