Hi, I'm Alexandra and I'm using workaway because I love to connect to the local people when I'm traveling to learn about their country, way of live, traditions, food, language, etc.. It is a great opportunity to travel to different places like this and also give something back wherever help is needed.

In my free time I like to meet up with friends, go on trips together, do sports (especially watersports) and I love the ocean :)

I'm working a full time job as an analyst now but during my school and university time I had the chance to gain experience through internships or part time jobs in the following fields: childcare, elderly care, being a tutor in a student dorm and organising events for the fellow students, cleaning community spaces in the dormitory, working as rider in a delivery service and in the medical area mostly as a receptionist. After finishing school, I was also volunteering abroad in nature conservation and doing things such as cutting out weeds and planting trees.

I love watersports and would also like to improve my skills for example in windsurfing or kitesurfing in case it is possible at my next destination :)
