More details about your skills
Hi there! I am energetic, hard-working and well-travelled (particularly in and around Central and South America). I speak conversational Spanish having lived in Argentina for 6 months and have experience organizing events at hostels and college campuses alike (I volunteered at a hostel in Edinburgh Scotland for 3 months and was an event coordinator and tour guide). I am a people-person and have extensive experience in customer service––cleaning at a hostel in Portland, OR, front desk/receptionist work, and time serving/hostessing at restaurants and bars (I have both my Food handlers permit and MAST license)–as well time spent in the non-profit world. I can build trail, weed, mulch leaves, improve on existing landscaping techniques, engage in forest restoration practices, and identify invasive species. I got a degree in International Studies from Gonzaga University and was heavily involved in outdoor rec opportunities. I love being outdoors and working within new communities! I'm excited to meet you and co-learn together.
