Hi there, my name's Alan. I'm a French-English traveller and amateur linguist looking to travel and work to learn new skills, practice languages and explore cultures.

I'm currently on my 11th WorkAway and counting. As far as skills are concerned, I've worked in lemon groves, olive gardens, a ginseng plantation, a hostel and a restaurant kitchen, helped build an outbuilding, trimmed tree branches, and shifted and stacked lumber. I have previous experience tutoring English and German. I'm happy with any kind of work and will always do it to the best of my abilities. As a person I'm very easy going and I'm sure I can get on with just about anyone, anywhere!

It's taken me a few weeks to get around to writing my feedback, but I'm glad I've found the time to do it eventually.

I stayed just under three weeks at the farm in May and June and had a great experience. Sookhee and Mr Huang are tremendously warm and welcoming people who clearly really enjoy the company of their WorkAwayers and will treat you like members of the family.
