Hi! My name is Zamira.
I’m 25 years old and was born and raised in the U.S., but my family is from Panama, and I speak Spanish. I have a bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, but over time, I found my true passion in video production. Now, I work remotely as a freelance video editor, and I absolutely love bringing stories to life through my work! :)
In the past, I gained a lot of experience working in hospitality, from apartment complexes to Disney World. Those jobs taught me how to provide great customer service, work in fast-paced environments, and make people feel welcome. While my focus is now on video editing, I still love connecting with people and creating meaningful experiences.
Beyond my work, I’m deeply passionate about mental health and creativity. I love expressing myself through drawing, writing, and making videos, always looking for new ways to bring ideas to life. I’m also eager to learn yoga and practice meditation as part of my personal growth journey.
I’m open-minded, hardworking, and always excited to meet new people and learn from different perspectives. I love connecting with others, sharing experiences, and embracing new challenges with a positive attitude.
As a first-time Workaway traveler, I’m so excited to embark on this new adventure—exploring new places, learning new skills, and gaining fresh perspectives on the world.
