Hello and thanks for checking out my profile.
My name is Zac and I'm a 27 year old Canadian travelling to New-Zealand with my girlfriend, Kate, in January.
I work seasonally as a firefighter for the British Columbia Wildfire Service. Kate just concluded her season as a crew leader for BC Parks and is now working on applying to med-schools.
We are both dependable, hardworking and friendly. We love outdoor adventures, sharing delicious meals, learning about the world and meeting cool people.
We're both super open to any number of work experiences and have both dabbled in construction, gardening, carpentry and hospitality. Kate has a professional background in photography art and sign making. I've worked in reforestation, hotels and restaurents and we both have a good amount of experience running chainsaws and building trails.
Our hope is to find a workaway for 2-3 weeks that will allow us to explore the surrounding areas on our days off, enjoy some unique experiences and meet some amazing people.
