  • Description

Hello! I’m Yeliz from Turkey. I studied Child Development and I’m a certified ABA therapist (from BBA Academy) and hippotherapist (equine-assisted therapy) from İstanbul Univercity.
I’ve worked for many years with children and animals, especially horses. I’m passionate about nature-based learning, community living, and non-violent communication.

I have a spiritual and calm temperament. I deeply enjoy being in nature and contributing to compassionate communities. In my free time, I practice yoga, Pilates and I enjoy swimming.

I’m also trying to improve my English speaking skills and I see this volunteering journey as a great opportunity for practice and learning and l want to gain experience in ecovillage life, and to contribute in any way I can — especially with children, animals, or emotional support.

I’m open, curious, and respectful. I value peace, collaboration, and sustainability.

Thank you for reading. I’m excited to learn, help, and share beautiful experiences with people from around the world!

  • More details about your skills

I graduated in Child Development and work as a special education teacher with certification as an ABA therapist. I also have a background in Equestrian Training with a focus on hippotherapy, and I’ve worked in equine-assisted therapy for 6 years.

I have 1 year of experience working in an ABA unit, supporting children with developmental differences. I'm passionate about emotional development, inclusive education, nature-based learning, and nonviolent communication. I enjoy contributing to community life through educational and collaborative practices.

While studying family counseling, I had the opportunity to participate in a therapeutic camp where I experienced art therapy sessions, which deeply inspired me. I am a special education teacher and equine therapist with experience working with children and families. Nowadays, I am also training in Nonviolent Communication and have joined an initiative to establish an ecological village, led by Mr. İsmail Yenigün, founder of IMC House and an eco-village entrepreneur for 25 years. I have a spiritual and calm temperament, and I love being in nature, contributing to compassionate communities, and supporting projects that bring people closer to themselves, each other, and the environment.

I am open to learning about ecological living, sustainable practices, and cooperative life. I value teamwork, reliability, and contributing with care and presence in any project I join.
