Description
Hi, I’m Yangyang Xu, from China🍎
❗I hold a J-Find working visa, introduced by the Japanese government in 2023 for graduates of the world’s top 100 universities( I graduated from CUHK, ranked 33rd worldwide).
J-Find working visa allows me to work legally in Japan without time restrictions.
I hold a degree in Marketing and 3 years of full-time experience in marketing.
And these years I tried all sorts of things that were fun and meaningful:
🎤Gave a TEDx talk on how to live with emotions and practice self-healing.
🌳Organized a public exhibition on campus called Parklife, helping students slow down, notice beautiful corners of campus, and feel less anxious.
🐘Volunteered in Kenya at an orphanage and in Vietnam with children with autism.
👩Worked in a women’s innovation company on period underwear marketing and hosted a roundtable event that was very well-received.
🌈 Illustrated, planned events, and even designed and managed projects for a corporate foundation.
🎥Right now I’m preparing a personal photography and film project, and I hope to find a work-exchange opportunity in Japan around October 2025.
💬I can speak fluent Chinese and English, and basic Japanese (I hold an N3 certificate and have traveled to Japan on business trips).
🎇What excites me most is community building. I love capturing people’s happy expressions, and I want to create more spaces full of energy, playfulness, and laughter together with others.

More details about your skills
What I can bring ✨
Marketing & Storytelling — I’ve done social media, event planning, project management, content creation, and even some light design and video editing. I can help your organization spread its story and make an impact.
Cross-art explorations — I draw, play with collage, clay, and other forms, and I’d love to experiment together with things like natural plant dye.
Everyday creativity — I’m really good at living (yes, that’s a skill!). Cooking Chinese food is my favorite, and I love trying new recipes with a “learn it today, make it today” spirit.
Languages — I speak Mandarin, Minnan (Hokkien), English, and a little Japanese (which I’m learning and really hope to get better at). I’ve also taught English to kids aged 8–15.
Speaking & Humor — I have great public speaking skills, I’ve hosted events, and people keep telling me to try stand-up comedy (maybe one day!).
Growth & Mentorship — I read a lot of personal development books, and I often share knowledge on self-healing and growth. Some people have even asked me for career advice and paid me for growth planning sessions.
Practical skills — I got my driver’s license (though I’m more of a cyclist 😆), I pick up new things very fast, and right now I’d love to learn a musical instrument—if you can teach me, even better!

What else ...
I’m very eager to work in projects that connect me with local communities in Japan. Since I hold a JFIND visa, I will need to provide an address to update my residence card.
I can commit to at least one month of service, so please don’t worry about reliability. Ideally, I’m looking for an opportunity that offers accommodation and meals, which would greatly reduce my living costs in Japan :)
I’m confident that the value I can bring is limitless, and I’d be happy to contribute in any way I can. Feel free to reach out!
