I want to travel this summer, for one month or so. I'm interested in arts and performance so I can learn more about it.

Description

I'm Marc, a friendly and open-minded person from Catalonia, Spain. I'm 30 years old. I'm currently working as a primary school teacher. I usually teach English, but I also tutor groups of children.

I enjoy practising various sports, such as running, cycling, and yoga and crossfit. Yoga has been a great discovery over the last few years, and it helps me stay calm and centred. I also enjoy nature, taking little trips all around my country. My family has a little caravan in the Pyrenees where I can go every time I want, and it's an incredible place!

I also enjoy music, and I play the guitar as a hobby. I enjoy different kinds of music, but I love to play author music. I also like traditional or folk music. Here in Catalonia, we've got lots of it. I love to participate in our traditional festivities, and this year I started learning how to play the Gralla, a traditional wind instrument from our country that it's played in the festivities, human castles and other accasions.

I love reading. I feel at peace when I read. I enjoy literature, but also all kinds of books. I also enjoy arts, mostly performance, theatre and marionettes. I try to apply some technics of these disciplines with my children at the school, but I want to learn more about it. So I suppose my next WorkAway will be in this direction.

I consider myself a community believer. I think that a meaningful life has to be built around people and community.
