Canada - from May 2025 until Nov 2025 View allDescription
Hiya,
I'm Amy, I'm 23 from the UK.
I have spent the past 2 years working in scuba diving. I started in Greece and then moved to Mauritius where I achieved my scuba instructor licence. I had an amazing time in both places, meeting great people and exploring the island's culture and beauty.
I graduated in textile design in 2022 and love to take my paints with me wherever I go, taking inspiration from the places I visit and people I meet. I love anything to do with the outdoors and sports, particularly horse riding. I have worked in a riding/show jumping yard in the UK since I was 14 and am always keen to ride wherever I travel.
I am currently in Canada working the ski season as an instructor and am looking forward to exploring the rest of Canada when the season ends.Interests

More details about your skills
Qualified PADI Scuba diving instructor - I achieved my instructor license in 2023 , working at the dive school helped me build experience working in a team and helping give customers the best service.
I would take groups of customers on guided dives, teach courses and worked with local school children teaching them to dive. To date this is still one of my favourite jobs as I loved to explore the ocean and be able to share that passion with other people.
I am a keen horse rider with experience of working on a yard for 10 years - University equestrian team captain, which helped me develop organisational and team management skills, as well as working with other teams and university representatives to arrange fixtures and events.
In 2022 I graduated with a degree in Textile design - I learned lots of different skills, including sewing, painting, printing and design using digital tools. This often comes in handy as I've become very good at fixing and altering clothes in my spare time.
I have always enjoyed baking, specifically cakes and cupcakes but am always up for a challenge. I often bake for friends and love bringing surprises into work to make the day easier.Age
