Hello my name is Wilf I am university student at Leeds in England, though i am in Mexico for a year abroad. At every opportunity i have chosen to travel, i love my home but i also love to see how other people live and what other places look like. It quickly became apparent that the best way to travel is to truly get involved with the people and places you visit. It is much more fruitful to stay in a place a meet people properly than just move through places, as can easy be done when travelling. I really like to meet new people with vastly different experiences and eat food i have never eaten. I am new to workaway but this all seems like such an incredible opportunity to do work i have never done and learn lots of cool things.

More details about my language interests
I am doing my year abroad in mexico and i came out here with nothing. My goal is to be at a confident level by the end of my year, i have come a long way from when i got here, however i would not yet say i am properly conversational. So any opportunity to learn is highly welcomed. I have studied english at various points in my education ranging to quite a high level, teaching english is something i have not yet done but something i have always wanted to do. I would be cable and willing to have such an opportunity.

At university i study philosophy and psychology, so if you also like talking about pointless stuff then we can talk for hours! I really do love a good talk so at least there might not be many awkward silences.
Outside of university i make my money as a cook, which is something is something i have always loved doing, cooking for myself and others brings me so much joy. Therefore if necessary i can chop vegetables up pretty quickly.
Having now been out in Mexico for 6 or so months i have began to pick up the language, though i still have a long long way to go it means i would love to use any and all opportunities to learn more.
Also i love animals and im not really scared of any of them, i like spiders and all that sort of stuff, so being outside that may come in handy in removing insects from rooms.
On the top of being outside, i have done a fair amount of climbing in my time and im relativeley tall. So if anything needs to go up a tree i recon i could do it.

What else ...

i love playing games, any game doesnt matter, i am definitley going to want to give it a try. Recently i became really into spikeball, if you know what that is, so if you have a net let me know. I also do love boardgames, however i can get quite loud particularly after red wine, though it is not out of competitiveness, i am just having lots of fun. I can also try and play you at chess, im not great but i will try.
I am not the most proficient artist but i like to draw a little, this is something i have been wanting to get better at so if you can draw good please help me.
