Description
My name is Weronika. I'm from Poland, and I'm 29, though most people say I look much younger :)
I work as a journalist for a non-governmental association dedicated to promoting peace. Our focus is on amplifying the voices of those who lack representation, fostering connections between diverse national communities, and delivering accurate information about various cultures, socio-political situations, and global conflicts. On a daily basis, I write about topics such as migration policy, humanitarian and development aid, as well as cultures beyond Europe.
Additionally, I'm an artist who creates collages and conducts art therapy workshops for groups at risk of social exclusion.
I have a deep love for nature and animals, and I'm a vegetarian. Being near the water brings me a sense of peace. Italy holds a special place in my heart, where I initially lived for months, and later for half of the year, on multiple occasions. I'm fluent in Italian, and I have a profound appreciation for Italian culture.
I'm genuinely curious about exploring different places and ways of life, as well as making a meaningful contribution using my skills, mind, and heart. Since I work remotely, I'm always eager to spend time in other countries, immerse myself in different cultures, make new friends, and discover the world. I firmly believe in the concept of mutual exchange, and I hope to blend my regular work with the exploration of alternative lifestyles and contributing to the communities I reside in.Interests

In the past, I studied Architecture, which allowed me to gain an understanding of technical drawings, construction, and design. However, it wasn't my chosen path, and I've never worked as an architect. Many things have changed in my life since then.
I've completed an art therapy course and recently started conducting workshops that focus on creating a safe and non-judgmental space for creative expression and connecting with oneself and others, particularly for groups facing social exclusion, both adults and children.
I've also graduated in International Cultural Studies, which combined my interests in art, culture, social issues, psychology, intercultural communication, travel, and migration.
I create graphics and collages and occasionally sell or publish them.
Being in contact with nature brings me both peace and vitality. In my parents' home, I lived next to a forest with my dog and maintained a small garden with some vegetables and herbs. While it doesn't make me a farmer, it certainly brought me joy and allowed me to connect with the plants on a daily basis.
I am fluent in English and Italian, having traveled extensively to Italy and lived there for extended periods. I also have a basic understanding of German.
In addition to my educational background and artistic pursuits, I have experience working as a waitress, creating art installations, handling Italian translations, and volunteering at film festivals. I've also engaged in workaway experiences, such as traveling to Malta to assist in a guesthouse, to Portugal to participate in construction projects, including house building, farming, permaculture development, and cooking and to Italy looking about the the property, taking general maintance of the house and taking care of the animals. I believe this is the best way to travel and get to know other cultures and people.
In general, I am eager to acquire new skills and am open to challenges, as well as ready to engage in various projects and community activities.Age
